What is forged ceramic?

A mineral-based, sol-gel ceramic layer cured onto a pressure-forged aluminium body. The forging makes the base dense and flat; the ceramic gives you release without fluoropolymers.

Is it really PTFE and PFAS free?

Yes. There is no PTFE, PFOA or PFAS anywhere in the coating chemistry. Our coating supplier's compliance documents and our ISI certification both back this.

How long does the non-stick last?

With wooden or silicone utensils, low-to-medium heat and hand washing, customers are reporting a like-new surface a year in. Overheating an empty pan is the fastest way to shorten its life.

Can I use metal utensils?

Please don't. Ceramic is hard but brittle at the surface — metal edges leave micro-scratches that dull the release. A wooden spatula ships with several of our sets for exactly this reason.

Does it work on induction?

Yes — every piece has an induction-ready base and is equally happy on LPG, induction, electric coil and glass-top stoves.

Do I need to season it?

No seasoning, ever. Wipe with a little oil before the first cook and you're done.

What heat should I cook on?

Low to medium. Ceramic conducts heat efficiently, so what used to be a 7 on your dial is a 5 here. High heat is only needed for a quick sear.

Is it dishwasher safe?

The casserole and most bodies tolerate a dishwasher, but hand washing with a soft sponge is what keeps the coating pristine. Always let the pan cool first — thermal shock warps bases.

Which size should I pick?

24cm frypan and 24cm kadhai suit two to four people. Choose the 26cm kadhai for five or more, and the 28cm tawa for full-size rotis and dosas.

Blush Pink or Pearl Ivory?

Purely aesthetic — the coating, base and performance are identical. Blush Pink is warm and rosy, Pearl Ivory is a soft off-white.
